| Category | Examples |

| Review evidence | The screenshot you upload to prove you left a review. It may show your public reviewer name, avatar, and the review text/rating. |
| Usage & funnel data | Actions on our pages (page views, button clicks such as opening Amazon, uploads), tied to a random visitor ID stored on your device and to an anonymous account we create for you to unlock the book. |
| Email engagement | Whether our emails are delivered, opened, or their links clicked, and unsubscribe/bounce/spam signals. |
| Technical data | IP address, device and browser information, and similar data automatically processed by our hosting and email providers. |
| Advertising data | If you consent, measurement data collected via the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to attribute ad performance and build audiences. See our Cookie Policy. |
We do not intentionally collect special-category data (e.g. health, political, religious data). Please do not include such information in screenshots or messages you send us.
| Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| To deliver the free book and secret bonus you requested, and to unlock your access. | Performance of a contract / steps taken at your request. |
| To send you emails guiding you through unlocking your book and related follow-ups. | Consent (which you can withdraw at any time) and our legitimate interest in fulfilling your request. |
| To verify the review screenshot you upload (see section 4). | Performance of a contract and our legitimate interest in preventing abuse and fraud. |
| To measure and improve our marketing, including via the Meta Pixel. | Consent. |
| To keep our service secure, prevent misuse, and comply with the law. | Legitimate interests and legal obligation. |
To unlock your book quickly, the screenshot you upload is analysed by an automated image-analysis model (provided by OpenAI) to check whether it appears to be a genuine review. Based on that analysis, your access is automatically approved or held.
This is an automated decision that affects whether you receive the free book. You have the right not to be subject to a solely automated decision: you can ask us to review your submission manually by emailing info@primebookpress.com, and a person will look at it.
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with trusted service providers ("processors") who act on our instructions, and only as needed to run the service:
| Provider | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Supabase Inc. | Database, authentication, file storage and backend functions (EU region). |
| Resend Inc. | Sending our emails and measuring delivery/opens/clicks. |
| OpenAI | Automated analysis of the review screenshot you upload. |
| Meta Platforms, Inc. | Advertising measurement via the Meta Pixel (only with your consent). |
| Netlify / hosting | Serving our web pages. |
Separately, when you choose to leave a review, you do so directly on Amazon, whose own privacy policy applies to your activity there. Amazon is not our processor.
Some of our providers are based outside the UK/EEA (for example in the United States). Where your data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as UK/EU adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses to protect it.
We keep your data only as long as necessary for the purposes above. In practice: contact and unlock records are retained while your relationship with us is active and for a reasonable period afterwards; review screenshots are kept only as long as needed to verify your unlock and handle any dispute, then deleted; email suppression (unsubscribe) records are kept indefinitely so we can honour your opt-out. If you ask us to delete your data, we will do so unless we must retain it by law.
Subject to conditions in law, you have the right to: access your data; correct it; erase it; restrict or object to its processing; data portability; and withdraw consent at any time. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any moment using the link in every email, or by emailing us.
To exercise any right, email info@primebookpress.com. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk, or to your local supervisory authority if you are in the EEA.
We use a small number of cookies and local-storage items to make the site work and, with your consent, to measure advertising. Full details are in our Cookie Policy.
We use reputable providers and reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. No online service can be guaranteed 100% secure, but we work to keep your information safe.
Our service is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows the latest version. Material changes will be reflected here.
