Cookie Policy

Last updated: 22 August 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how PrimeBookPress Ltd uses cookies and similar technologies (such as browser local storage) on our sites. For how we handle personal data generally, see our Privacy Policy.

1. What these technologies are

Cookies and local-storage items are small pieces of data stored on your device. Some are essential for the service to work; others help us understand and improve our advertising. We only use non-essential technologies with your consent.

2. Cookies and storage we use

NameTypePurpose
Supabase session tokenStrictly necessaryCreates the anonymous account that lets you unlock and access your free book. Without it the service cannot work.
pbp_cidFunctional / analytics (first-party)A random visitor ID stored on your device so we can understand the unlock journey (which step you reached). It does not identify you personally on its own.
pbp_exit_lFunctionalRemembers, for the current session, that we already showed you a reminder message, so we don't repeat it.
_fbp (Meta Pixel)Advertising (consent required)Set by Meta (Facebook) to measure ad performance and build audiences. Only set if you accept advertising cookies.

3. Managing your choices

Where the law requires prior consent (for example in the EU, EEA and UK), we set advertising cookies such as the Meta Pixel only after you accept them through our cookie banner. In other regions, these cookies may be set by default to measure our advertising, and you can decline or remove them at any time through the banner where shown or via your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary items may stop the unlock service from working.

4. Changes

We may update this policy as our tools change. The "Last updated" date shows the current version.
